Insurers inundated with bushfire claims
Australia's major insurance companies say they expect claims from Canberra's weekendbushfires to pass $30 million.
The estimate comes after the companies were inundated by hundreds of claims today.
Australia's biggest general insurer, NRMA Insurance, had received more than 200 claimsby midday (AEDT), while GIO Insurance had logged another 60.
